It is best to consult a doctor before taking oral medications, because another treatment may be more appropriate.

  Other men would prefer to follow more natural procedures to get rid of their yeast infection. There are diets to follow to make sure the yeast goes away and stays away. These diets involve lessening the sugar intake to make the yeast less likely to thrive. Eating yogurt also helps, as yogurt contains good bacteria to counter the overgrowth of yeast.
